ROBIN MOORE -executive director
Robin has been teaching to all ages for 29 years. She is a well known choreographer with National award winning pieces presented throughout the country. She is also the founding director of the Pikes Peak Performance Company, a non-profit dance company. Robin’s spunk and creativity in the classroom has been adored by students of all ages. Robin’s energetic style and incredible talent to choreograph makes dancing fun for all – both students and audiences. Former students have gone on to continue their study of dance at universities and professional companies. Robin is delighted to bring the love of dance to her community through her visions and dreams. Her students are her inspiration and her husband and two daughters are her foundation.
WENDY HICKOX - TEAM DIRECTOR
Wendy was born and raised in Colorado Springs and has been dancing for more than 20 years. She has been teaching dance for more than ten years and has experience in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, and poms. Wendy has been the coach of the Pom Teams at Robin’s since the studio opened in 1998. Wendy graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a B.A. in Speech Communication with an emphasis in Elementary Education. While at UNC, she was a member of the university dance team, called the Sugar Bears, for three years. Wendy is a wife and the mother of two daughters and one son, and feels privileged to work with the students at Robin’s Danceworks.

LYNDZI WELLS - assistant to the executive director; team director
Lyndzi has been dancing for 14 years and teaching at Robins for the last four of those. Her cutting-edge and versatile choreography is what makes her dances stand out and push dancers to their maximum limits. Lyndzi competed with Robins for 7 years, during which her team was national champions and her solo placed in the top ten on multiple occasions. Lyndzi's dedication to ongoing training and her own technique is what makes taking dance from Lyndzi challenging and fun for dancers of all levels. She attends LA or NY at least once a year and 4-5 different conventions as well to make sure she is choreographing for her dancers strengths and giving them new moves that have not yet been discovered in the Colorado Springs area. Lyndzi has not only trained under all the teachers at RDW but has also been taught and inspired by Kourtni Lind and Shauna Noland, two finalists from SYTYCD; Shane Sparks, Tucker Barkley, Bobby Newberry, Rino, Gus Carr, Super Dave, Dave Carter, Phi and many other choreographers from the Millennium and the Edge Performing Arts Center in LA. She has also trained with Justin Giles and follows his style as an inspiration for her own as well. Lyndzi's dedication and commitment to the studio is what earned her the opportunity to become Assistant to the Executive Director this year where she will be assisting Robin Moore on anything and absolutely everything that goes on with the studio. Ms. Lyndzi loves the dance studio and looks forward to being able to teach your dancer one day!
DEBI SPENCER - team director
Debi has been a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer for more than 20 years!! In her professional career, she toured with the Broadway musical 42nd street, appeared in many musical theatre productions including West Side Story, Annie, Anything Goes, Sugar Babies, and Camelot to name a few. She has also danced at Walt Disney World in Beauty and the Beast, Hollywood Hollywood, and the Dick Tracy Show and many other productions in Japan and Europe. She has a Bachelor's in Performing Arts from Oklahoma City University and a Masters in Education. Most recently she taught and choreographed at Wake Forest University, Pine Creek High School, and RDW!!! Aside from dancing, Debi has appeared in numerous national and regional television commercials, has been the spokes model for the Anthony's stores and lent her voice to numerous radio spots!
JULIE GROVES
Julie began dancing with Robin Moore when she was 9 years old and has been teaching dance since 1997. She participated in Starpower's National Power Pak tour, both as a dancer and as a team leader. Her specialties are Jazz, Pom, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. Julie attended the University of Northern Colorado where she received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing in 2003. While at UNC, Julie was a member of the UNC Sugar Bears Dance Team and she coached this team her last two years of college. Julie has been an R.N. in the Labor and Delivery Unit at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs where she was also a Maternal Flight Nurse. Julie is currently the Donor Nurse Coordinator at the Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine in Denver.
CORINNE KUHL-REED
Corinne was a soloist with Colorado Ballet’s founding company and principal ballerina of the Denver Ballet Theatre. She has danced the leading roles in Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Coppelia, Firebird and Sylvia among others as well as the Dying Swan, Magdalena in Messiah and numerous contemporary works. Corinne’s teaching experience spans 3 decades and includes training schools for several professional companies in Colorado. Her former students have gone on to dance with major companies including Miami City Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theatre Studio Company and the Rockettes.
CINDY SHANE
Cindy is a Colorado native with 25 years experience in coaching gymnastics. Cindy is a former gym owner and event staff member of USA Gymnastics. She is a mother of three. Cindy has a BA degree from Colorado State University in elementary and secondary education and an MS degree in Education Administration.
LESLIE PEARCE WILLIAMS
Leslie is a native of Colorado Springs and began dancing here at the age of 5. She began teaching her senior year of high school and continued teaching ballet, jazz and modern at many studios throughout Missouri and Illinois. While attending college in St. Louis, she was selected as an intern for Mid-America Dance Company and Paul Taylor 2, and also had her choreography adjudicated at the American College Dance Festival. Since graduating in 2002 with double Bachelor’s Degree in Theater and Dance, Miss Leslie has taught dance full time at Wasson High School, Theater and Dance at Russell Middle School, and choreographer musicals and show choirs at many local theaters and high schools. Miss Leslie loves teaching and sharing her love of dance with students of all ages.
ANNETTE STIPAK
Annette has been dancing she was 5 years old and teaching dance since 1983. She received most of her dance training at Studio One for the Performing Arts in N. Little Rock, Arkansas. She has been teaching dance in Colorado Springs since 1999 and specializes in tap and combo classes. As a student, she received various dance awards at performances throughout the community. As an instructor, she has choreographed several award-winning routines and hopes to continue promoting the love of dance to all generations. In addition to dance, she has a BS in Accounting and also is a District 11 ESP staff member specializing in reading/math tutoring.
KRISTIN MARSHALL LONG
Kristen started dancing at age 11 and was a member of several of Robin's national award-winning dance teams. She also volunteered with the Pikes Peak Performance Company. Miss Kristin is currently studying accounting at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and has had the privilege to teach dance since 2004. In addition to teaching at Robin's Danceworks, Kristen also teaches classes at several local churches and elementary schools. She is experienced in ballet, jazz, pointe, lyrical, pom, acro, hip-hop, musical theatre and tap, and enjoys sharing her enthusiasm and love for dance with her students.

Briana is a senior at Liberty High School. She has been dancing for 16 years and has been assisting and teaching for the past two years. Briana has danced at Robin's Danceworks for 11 years and has been a member of many of Robin's national award-winning dance teams. She recently was awarded Miss Danceworks 2009 at the past recital. Briana enjoys sharing a bond with the children and feels very blessed to teach them to do something that she has a strong passion for.
