About Us

Robin's Danceworks (RDW) has not only been a 2nd home to hundreds of children, but has also served as a versatile and award winning neighborhood dance studio for 12 years. At RDW we strive to make sure that it is a place for your child to feel safe, gain confidence, make life-long friendships, gain high self-esteem, and push themselves in all artistic ways possible. We pride ourselves in having a family atmosphere and in how we encourage everyone in the family to be involved.

Robin's Danceworks offers a wide variety of classes including hip hop, tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical/contemporary, acro, combo, musical theatre, tots, and poms. We have classes designed for every level of ability including adults, beginning teenagers, and even a boys only hip hop class. These dancers learn the appreciation for dance through taking as little or as many classes as wanted and will learn how to express themselves through performing and dancing all year. These classes work hard to perform in an end-of-the-year recital so all family and friends can come watch how much fun their dancer has had all year. The annual recital is held every year at Wasson High School in June. It is truly a treat and fun experience for the whole family! New - We are also honoring one student each month to gain the recognition of becoming "Student Of The Month." They will get their picture featured on the website and at the studio in a frame for all to see. This is so we can show you how much we appreciate how well you have raised your kids and to award those dancers that truly are helpful, kind, hard-working, attentive, and well-mannered!

Competitive Opportunities

Robin's Danceworks also has award-winning and very well respected competition teams for the more serious dancer. Our versatile studio is moving into the cutting edge era of dance, but still maintaining our beginning basics and fundamentals of what our philosophy is. These teams compete in 3-4 competitions a year and also travel to a national competition every other year. Robins Danceworks' competitive dancers have also performed at various events all over Colorado including but not limited to: New Born Hope, Martin Luther King Celebration, Pikes Peak Symphony, Childrens Chorale Performances, and they even perform for the Denver Nuggets yearly. These accomplished dancers have not only gained an appreciation for giving back to the community but many of them have also gone on to dance at college or dance professionally with companies all over the world. Please visit our Spotlight section that highlights our dancers that have gone on to dance after they graduated with Robins Danceworks.

All of our competitive students here at Robin’s Danceworks are not only full-time dancers, but we allow our competitive kids to also participate in all the activities outside of dance as well. We have many competitive soccer players, valedictorians, salutatorians, competitive gymnasts, leaders in plays, school dance team members, and many more students that balance dance life with outside activities. We always want our kids at RDW to feel that they can be a part of their school-life as well as the dance-life. There is a place for you here at Robin’s Danceworks no matter what you choose to do! Please check out our Spotlight Current Students Section to see how our dancers acomplishing great things and experiencing competitive dance as well!

The values we raise our dancers and families on will remain with you forever. Our studio-wide movie trips, fundraisers, picnics, parties, and dance performances are events that are fun for the whole family to watch and participate in. We even encourage our "Daddies" to participate in our award-winning Dad Dances and our beautiful tear-jerking "Daddy-Daughter" piece. Our hard-working dads have become world-renowned and national champions by making people smile and showing the judges that the dads are where all the kids get their rhythm from. The family experience that is present at Robin's Danceworks is something that creates a special environment that is second to none!
